The Ford Econoline Custom Camper

I just finished this pen and ink and scanned it in. It always amazes me when I see these beauties rusting away in some farmers field or someone's back yard. Sadly the gas prices have made RV-ing expensive these days but a lot of folks seem to think you need to go far away to camp when there are so many wonderful spots to explore right in our area.

Caravan Number two was drawn and painted in my bathtub in my Hamilton, Ontario apartment. The original was also purchased by Susan Moore as a gift to our friend Gale and LE Prints one two and three went to my friends 1. Cindy Kickham 2. famous folk singer from London, Ontario, Alison Brown and 3 to Lindsey Ryder.

This is my very first Caravan of the series that I sketched in North Carolina when I got the idea from a button I purchased at a very amazing art gallery there featuring paintings from Van Gogh and Matisse.

 

The Original Painting was given to dear friend of mine Susan Moore and I have given several limited edition copies to friends of mine before I thought of keeping track of each individual unique copy.
